swapping cards is easy and problem free.Anything that appears on this list needs immediate attention. currently i use 2x32G and 1x16G, plan to add two more cards then which should be very enough for me. this eliminates date transfer issue and C3 then can sort everything alphabetically and numerically.Īs it happens i do not use C3 internal memory since 8G is a joke and adding one more 32G card makes better sense for me personally.

so when you copied all your music onto the card, you then have to transfer everything back on PC and then again back to the card. another issue is C3 sorts everything by date of transfer.
also, better use two 32G rather than 64G, makes life easier and also quicker on C3.Īs concerns sorting files i recommend creating big folders using letters like A-G or S-Z and put your music accordingly. first of all, do not buy latest class micro cards, class4 works just fine and taking higher class cards will give no benefit while being more costly and can have some issues with C3.

so i put the card into mac via adapter and do all my music files and then unplug and insert this into C3. i did not use C3 for transfer since all owners of C3 confirmed this is way too slow. C3 gladly accepted and played everything without a problem.Ĭoncerning files transfer i recommend using card adapter for transfer from PC onto the card. all i had to do was transfer music files. as a matter of fact i had no issues, all cards were plug & play and were pre-formatted to FAT32. upon getting my C3 i went and bought two Sundisk class 4 32G micro cards. i also received a 16G class 4card from the merchant with C3.
Lower class micro sd cards are bloody cheap nowadays. Longer for the case I ordered, he didn't ship it yet. My device has shipped - guess he sent it out before leaving for Chinese New Year, supposed to be here within the next ten days (been five already). I've made some single FLAC and cue files already, but I do like the option of jumping from track to track, so probably will keep that to a minimum. I'll have to adapt a bit to a new paradigm here, but the SQ seems worth it. My iPhone 4 music player (well, actually I run an app called DJ, which makes overlapping transitions from song to song) has various playlists that I can choose from, or I can just shuffle off the whole music file. Thought I might put the Beatles and a few other "go to" groups on the 8gb internal, and use the 32 for the rest and new adds. Seemed cost over speed wouldn't be much of an issue (as opposed to the cards in my Nikons and Canons, which I want as fast as possible), merely a bit longer to transfer but no effect on playback. I bought a 32gb Sandisk Class 4 after reading this thread. Select the volume (card or mounted C3), choose menu to run BlueHarvest, then eject. I also saw the reference to BlueHarvest on the Colorfly site, and decided for $14 it made sense.

Especially with a Mac in a Windows world, it pays to do your homework before setting off on a path. I've done lots of "due diligence," reading up on various players, pros and cons, issues, and the like. I had seen the post linked above about various ways to delete the files.
